Description

This Limited Edition Acanthus Vase is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, inspired by the intricate scrollwork and ornamentation that adorn the walls, plasterwork, and ceilings of the State Apartments at Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. The acanthus design, a timeless decorative motif, also graces textiles, furniture, and wall coverings throughout the Royal Palaces, making this vase a true reflection of royal elegance.

Commissioned exclusively by Buckingham Palace, this exquisite vase is handcrafted in England using traditional methods. It is expertly hand-blown in Devon from 24% lead crystal, renowned for its brilliance and clarity. The intricate details are brought to life through the intaglio glass cutting technique, where a skilled craftsman meticulously engraves the design onto the crystal's surface. Each piece is then hand-cut, polished, and adorned with frosted floral details, creating a stunning interplay of light and texture.

Presented in a luxurious gold box, this vase is part of a highly exclusive Limited Edition of just 25 pieces, making it a rare and treasured addition to any collection.

Hand-wash only. Not suitable for dishwashers or microwave ovens. Store pieces separately to avoid surface scratches.

16 x 19 x 19 cm.
