Palace of Holyroodhouse Façade Clay Dec
- Product Code:

Description
Crafted using white earthenware, this dainty decoration depicts the façade of the Palace of Holyroodhouse; the official royal residence in Scotland.
Wonderfully handcrafted from start to finish, this decoration is first brought into fruition through the process of clay slab-rolling. The clay is then cut by a 3D print cutter before it is dried, sponge and bisque-fired at 1000°c. The decoration is then carefully hand-painted to begin reveal the intricate details the façade design. The charming decoration is then dip-glazed, fired at 1000°C, screen-painted by hand, then finally it is once again fired but this time at 800°c. The aim of the production process is for zero defects and zero waste.
11 x 5.5 cm.
Perfectly finished with a deep purple, satin ribbon which measures at 17 cm high.
