Description
The Palace of Holyroodhouse stands in a spectacular setting at the foot of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, its walled garden surrounded by open parkland. The Palace has been a royal residence for over 500 years, and today is the official residence of His Majesty The King in Scotland.
This Whisky Toddy spice bag will help you create a flavoured syrup to make your own traditional Scottish hot toddy. Perfect for the winter weather, this spice bag contains four spiced sachets, hand blended and packed in the UK.
To make a Whisky Toddy, boil 450 ml of water and add one tablespoon of sugar and one Whisky Toddy spice sachet. Once the water is cooler and the sugar has dissolved, add 50 ml of whisky to the spicy syrup but do not allow to boil. Serve hot, adding a slice of lemon and a pinch of nutmeg. The full traditional Scottish recipe is included with the spice bag.
16 x 9.5 cm.
Ingredients: ginger, allspice, lemon peel, mace spice.
